I heard it was a very well-done documentary and wanted to know if anyone else has seen it? I ordered the DVD on Amazon.

I have not, but it's in my instant queue on Netflix. Have seen 2002's "Dahmer", with Jeremy Renner? I thought he did a really good job in that one. There's also an interesting-looking one called "The Secret Life: Jeffrey Dahmer" from 1993. I downloaded it as it looks like something that'd appeal to both my love for true crime and exploitation movies. I don't think that one's on DVD.

I really didn't care for Renner's Dahmer flick.

OH, okay. I wasn't sure, since the low-budget nature of it makes it hard to tell if my digital copy is a VHS rip or not. Might have to grab the DVD if it's good.

As for the Renner one...I liked it. It started dragging towards the end, but Renner's performance made it all worthwhile. He's a damn fine actor.

I have some Dateline programs where Stone Phillips interviews him and says "Nice to see you." Nice to see you? The guy killed, tortured, raped over a dozen young men and Stone Phillips says "Nice to see you"? I also have the AJ episode.

One time, I foolishly looked at some of the crime scene photos. To say that they were very horrifying would be putting it mildly.

I listened to an interview with Patrick Kennedy on Opie and Anthony last year where he talked about the documentary. Very engaging guy. Sadly, he passed away last April.

The picture in that video makes it look like some sort of comedy. :)

I just watched it on Netflix, they have it. Without showing any of the graphic images, the Police Investigator, Forensic Scientist and neighbor recount their days in the midst of the Dahmer hoopla. Patrick Kennedy (the detective) was a very captivating story teller, I'm sad to hear of his passing. There's also combined reenactment shots as well, but nothing violent. All in all it was good.
