Super Bowl 48 is just 4½ weeks away, here are the teams that have made the NFL Playoffs:

On the AFC Side:

The Denver Broncos who clinched the AFC West for the 3rd consecutive season have also clinched the #1 seed in the conference for the 2nd consecutive season

The New England Patriots who clinched the AFC East have once again, clinched the #2 seed in the conference

The Cincinnati Bengals who went 8-0 @ home for the 1st time in 25 years since 1988 have not only clinched the AFC North for the 1st time in 4 years since 2009, but they have also clinched the #3 seed in the conference

The Indianapolis Colts who clinched the AFC South for the 1st time in 3 years and the 1st time since Andrew Luck joined the team have clinched the #4 seed in the conference

The Kansas City Chiefs clinched a Playoff Berth for the 1st time in 3 years and they have also clinched a Wild Card Spot @ the #5 seed in the conference

and the San Diego Chargers were able to clinch a Playoff Berth for the 1st time in 4 years and they, too have clinched a Wild Card Spot @ the #6 seed in the conference

So that means that 3 teams from the AFC West have all clinched Playoff Spots:

The Denver Broncos, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Diego Chargers

On the NFC Side:

The Seattle Seahawks have not only clinched the NFC West, but they have also clinched the #1 seed in the conference

The Carolina Panthers who clinched the NFC South have clinched the #2 seed in the conference and it's the 1st time in 5 years since 2008 that the team has clinched both the division and the #2 seed in the conference

The Philadelphia Eagles who clinched the NFC East have clinched the #3 seed in the conference and it's the 1st time in 3 years since 2010 that the team has clinched both the division and the #3 seed in the conference

The Green Bay Packers who clinched the NFC North for the 3rd consecutive years in a row have also clinched the #4 seed in the conference

The San Francisco 49ers have clinched a playoff berth for the 4th consecutive season have also clinched a Wild Card in the #5 seed

They sat defence wins championships ans Seattle has the best defence in the NFL. (statistically) Also they have home field advantage through the NFC playoffs and are dominant at Century Link Field. The Seahawks are well placed to be the NFC reps in the Superbowl!

I use to like the 49ers back in the days of Joe Montana and I liked the Niners when Alex Smith was the QB, but ever since Colin Kaepernick became the QB and when they got rid of Alex Smith, I dislike them now, the only ones that I like are Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis and Anquan Boldin

But it would be so SWEET if Aaron Rodgers gets his revenge on Kaepernick

1st off, the NFC Side, the New Orleans Saints def. the Philadelphia Eagles in a good game 28-26 to give the Saints their 1st Playoff Win on the Road

also, the San Francisco 49ers def. the Green Bay Packers once again in the Playoffs 23-20 in another great game

Meanwhile....

as I said before, I can't stand Jim Harbaugh and Colin Kaepernick can't feel the pressure

The only thing that I like about the 49ers are Michael Crabtree, Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis, but IMO, Jim Harbaugh and management have shot themselves in the foot for letting go of Alex Smith

Since I'm a Cowboys fan, I haven't liked them since January 1982 and "the Catch." But yea, I don't care much for Harbaugh and the smash talking 49ers as a whole. I also find it funny how nobody cared about them for a decade and now that they're back, everybody is a 49er fan again.

I really hope the Patriots and the Seahawks are in the SB.

More likely it is both Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson, no offense.

Well I hate to break this to ya, but bad break for Broncos before Pats game

Denver will be without an important player when Tom Brady and New England come to town on Sunday.

When cornerback Chris Harris was in Sunday's playoff game for the Denver Broncos, the San Diego Chargers could barely move the ball.

The Chargers had 44 passing yards with a little more than eight minutes left in the third quarter. Keenan Allen's first catch came on the play that Harris hurt his knee. Rivers ended up with 217 yards and two touchdowns, both to Allen, who had six catches for 142 yards.

It wasn't a coincidence that the Broncos' defense looked far better with Harris in, and it's a big deal for Denver that Harris is now out for the season.

Harris tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season, USA Today's Lindsay Jones first reported.

It's horrible timing for the Broncos, who will host Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the AFC championship game on Sunday.

Harris ranked as the ninth-best cornerback in the NFL this season, according to Pro Football Focus' grades. The Broncos already were without outside linebacker Von Miller for the rest of the season, and it's another huge blow to the defense to lose Harris.

The Patriots, with their many injuries on both sides of the ball, aren't going to feel sorry for the Broncos. Veteran Quentin Jammer struggled when he replaced Harris in Sunday's game. Champ Bailey is still being used in part-time duty after an injury-ravaged season.

The Patriots understand what Harris' absence means, and they're going to test the Broncos to see if they can adequately replace him Sunday.

They're wrong, offense wins championships just as often as defense.

If you look at W/L records in the SB, the better offensive teams win as often as the better defensive teams, it's about dead even (excluding Super Bowls in which the better offensive team was also the better defensive team).
