I have a friend who grew up with sitcoms in the 90s along with me. The other day we got to talkin' bout teh Rose and the history of this show. Well, he started telling me about this supposed Roseanne film that was planned back in the show's heyday that I can't find any info for on Google. Has anyone heard of this?

According to him, and he would have no reason to lie, the film was to be produced by Japanese film company Toho, the people behind Godzilla. The film would have featured an epic battle at the end ala Godzilla, only this time not between two gigantic fat radioactive monsters, but rather Roseanne and Dan......oh wait, it WOULD have been between two gigantic fat radioactive monsters. But I digress, or rather digest, as do the fat tubs 'o lard whenever they're at the dinner table in a classic episode. He wasn't specific on the plot, but I have an inkling it must have been something that resembled the frenzy that we all know for a scientific fact must have happened on the scenes of the show the viewers never got to witness whenever Roseanne godzilla'd her way into the grocery store and roared for food.

BTW little known fact bet you all didn't know, Godzilla's adversary Rodan actually was named from a mishearing of Roseanne's name. PROOF that they had the whole epic Roseanne flick in the proof of concept stage.

Again, my friend would never lie. We only got to discussing this after too much to drink over dinner, but I take it as fact. I tried asking my neighborhood Japanese friend Tanaka San, but he said, and I quote "Toho make Roseanne film, yes, was. very true. there was scene where she eat all of seafood in Japan Sea. yes."

Man I'm in the know so much, so blessed this holiday season.
