Shows that you watched, but then at some point watched them less regularly until eventually you no longer watched that show at all.

Family Matters (1993?) Would watch the show again when in moved to CBS.

Just Shoot Me - After the first few season, Wendie Malick evenutally grew to annoy the heck out of me. Couldn't stand her on Frasier either, just when I thought I was done with her on my screen.

Everybody Loves Raymond - After severa seasons, not sure when but the meddling parents just got too repetitive and predictable for my taste

Desperate Housewives - After season three (maybe four), got bored with the formula and the characters.

I don't think this has happened to me too often. Sometimes over-exposure of reruns caused me to drift away from some series for a period of years, but I eventually welcomed them back. Although, there is another situation that fits the bill, and it seemed to happen a lot in the 1990s. There would be a sitcom I tended to like ("Wings" being an early example of this), which would suddenly and unexpectedly come up with an episode that was atypically racy and way too full of sleazy innuendos and such. It would be such a turn-off that I'd indeed drift away from the series, and never really watch it again. I'd just lose all the good feelings and sympathy I once had for such a show.

Back in the 1997-98 season,at first I totally despised "Dharma and Gregg",for some reason kept watching anyway, then quickly found myself tuning in religiously I think Tuesdays at 9 or 9:30.Currently,"Goldbergs" seems to be slowly growing on me.............

Sometimes I don't find anything good to watch but I still want the TV on so I watched Everybody loves Raymond and Freinds in re runs and then I started to like them.

I intended to do the same with "Modern Family" and have been slowly starting to do this with "How I Met Your Mother".Also,my local library has I think two seasons of each.A really excellent way to catch up with things right there.I do however intend to catch the finale of "Mother" when they reveal who the mother is.Even though I haven't been really been paying attention much to the show, somehow I feel obligated as a major sitcom fanatic to at least catch that one...........

Xena - it was a ground-breaking original show until it became too dependabt on CGI magic and the quirky lesbian relationship between the two lead characters.

Cougar Town - jokes about fart jars and bald guys with dirty ankle socks turned me off the show I used to find funny.
