But then after a while you did like them? I thought Friends and Everybody loves Raymand was stupid and then I started watching the re-runs when nothing else was on and now I watch them all the time.

I'll mention an oldie. When I first started seeing "I Married Joan" in reruns on the CBN network, I didn't exactly cotton to it. Usually liked vintage sitcoms, but this one seemed too broad, too silly. But after a while, I started finding a whole lot of humor in Joan Davis' old-time vaudeville-style reactions and mannerisms. I just gradually found myself cracking up, watching her. Eventually became quite a favorite of mine.

FREINDS and SEINFELD. When both of these first started, I didn't think they were funny, and no matter how many times I watched them I just couldn't see what people saw in them.

But, after watching them a few times, I started to like them.

I didn't take to Golden Girls right off. But of course, over time I became a fan.

To a lesser extent, it also took me a while to come on board with Designing Women, Dave's World, and Evening Shade. All good shows...!

I didn't care for Frasier at first, actually for a long time I didn't care about the show at all then a couple of years ago, I was bored and watched an episode. I couldn't believe what I had been missing all those years. My mom watched it and I used to watch it with her, but didn't really pay attention. I am now one of the biggest fans of the show and I love Niles and Daphne as you can see by my signature. :)

I used to hate King of Queens and now I really enjoy it.

I didn't really care for Yes, Dear either and then I started watching it and became a fan.

OH Nuts!

I didn't care for That Girl too much when it originally aired. Or Leave It To Beaver, which I first began viewing when the show was in syndication. Now I LOVE both shows.

Home Improvement I didn't enjoy as a kid so I pretty much never watched it. Then when I was older it came to Nick At Nite and I loved it.

Laverne and Shirley, wouldn't say I hated it but I'd only watch it on Nick At Nite if there was absolutely nothing else on when I was a kid. Now I enjoy watching the reruns.

When Seinfeld was airing on Thursdays I could not understand it's appeal or why critics praised it, to me it was just another lame sitcom but then I started getting into the syndicated reruns and I started to get a liking to it. Now of course I always catch up on it's reruns.

The same thing with 30 Rock and The Big Bang Theory I discovered them via reruns which is a quicker way of getting your daily instead of weekly dose on most shows.

As a kid in the 80's I didn't much care for Miami Vice since it wasn't geared for kids but now catching up on its reruns on Cozi-TV its pretty decent although every episode seems to end on a sour note and sometimes its gets a tad boring.

I didn't care much at first for original-recipe NBC Star Trek (1966-69) (in fact, when I was younger, I found it to be the most boring of all the Treks): it wasn't, however, until I saw it through from its three remastered DVD releases that I realized it was better than I had originally thought it was.

Mad Men took a couple of times for me. I think partly was because I was very impressed with the realism of the show, the vast amount of characters, and the program is basically a soap opera (I wish there could have been more light hearted and comedic moments of the show, Roger is hilarious).

Too Close for Comfort. When I saw it for the first time when Antenna TV launched in 2011, it seemed slow at first but once Monroe came on, he made it funnier and more interesting. And now even the early episodes without him seem funny and more enjoyable now than they did back then since I've seen the whole series through.
