Cybill Shepherd is "Trophy Wife's" Mother

"Trophy Wife" fans will meet Kate’s maker later this season — and the reformed party girl’s momma will be played by TV vet Cybill Shepherd.

Per E! Online, Shepherd will appear at the end of Episode 17 and then in Episode 18 as Kate’s mom Cricket, “a fun-loving, spontaneous wild child” whose arrival throws Kate’s new-ish family life into chaos.

"Trophy Wife" resumes its freshman run on Jan. 7th.
