Hey Bob Newhart Show fans!

It was reported in the ME TV Thanksgiving Episode thread that ME TV, although allegedly acquiring all episodes of season six, is showing the only the fist six episodes of season six, than started over with season one. If they are not going to acquire the whole season, why bother showing season six at all?

Here is a contact information form from ME TV's website. Feel free to contract them about this and you can post the answer in this thread when they reply. Fans need to know if this was a programing oversight, or if somehow, they really only have six episodes of the last season. Here is the contact information:

Minimal edits, with no split screens or credit crunching, ever! METV has been and remains awesome in this regard!

I have wondered why this happened, too. The quality isn't very good on them...I'm wondering if they're waiting on them to be remastered on commercial DVD.

Currently, Me-TV has gotten into the later half of S6, with episodes from early 1978 being rerun in the Wednesday night BNS timeslot.

I can't wait until this is finally released on DVD (5/27/14) so we won't have to worry about it airing or not.

I actually liked this show. It was cool. Bob Newhart did very well in this role. Loved Suzanne Pleshette as his wife. Very good balance and match.

So did I until Hallmark got rid of it. It took my mind off not having a job during the summer of 2011:lol:
