Ok there is a topic similar to this, I hope this isn't too similar but I thought it'd be interesting to see what some ppl might consider your little quirks :)

for me they are: ~and some of these things I didn't even know were strange~

1. I drink coffee through a strawl a lot of times.

2. I drink coffee with icecream a lot ~I didn't think that was that strange but once in a restaurant a server said, "You're having coffee with icecream?? That's a STRANGE combo!"~

3.I like to put butter on my bake potato and stir it around in the potatoe ~again I didn't think that was odd, but one of my friends saw me doing that and he was like, "WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING?!"

4.I like to salt my pizza a little

5. I like to eat the 1st piece of pizza with a fork. ~it seems like most people pick it up from the start but it's too hot~

6.I like to dip popcorn in lemon juice and sprinkle it with salt.

I tend to go overboard on making puns during a conversation

I eat BBQ sauce on my french fries instead of ketchup

If I am wearing a necklace or dangly earrings I tend to flip them around and play with them.

I must have everything in my perfume, bath and body works stash and nail polish stash facing with the label where I can see it. It's very odd. And, it's very OCD. Also, my nail polish stash is sorted by brand.

When I wash my hands in the bathroom. I always dry them on my hair. It seems to fluff my hair up and give it bounce.

I must have my tabs on mozilla in a certain order. From most important website to least important website.

I must have no less than 2 candles on my desk or it drives me nuts.

Also. All my friends find this weird. I tend to date nerds. By choice. I love nerdy guys. Probably because they are smart enough to hold a real conversation with me IRL. (I'm very different online than I am in person. I tend to be serious with a side of snarky punny biotch.) Also, nerds are cute.

The worst. Since 2007 I've been labeling my grocery list as "grocery liszt"

That's all I can think of right now.

I'm kinda glad to hear you date nerds lol I think we need different types of relationships. I just get SO TIRED of hearing ppl say stuff like, "Why would a girl as pretty as her go for a nerdy guy like that?" Or "How does such a nerdy guy get such a pretty girl?"

I mean it's like saying that ALL relationships have to be exactly alike and ALL GIRLS on the planet have to be attracted to the exact same type of guy, and really I think that's BS. Tell your friends, different ppl like different things :)

If I eat a meal with fries (like a burger for instance), I always eat the fries first.

OH Nuts!

When I ate French toast I always put sour cream on top.

When I used to eat potato chips, I'd put catsup on them.

When I eat almonds I like to put chili powder on top.

I like tartar sauce on fried chicken.

I don't know how weird this is, but I like my lasagna with cottage cheese, I hate cottage cheese otherwise lol

I dip fish sandwiches in tartar, bun and all

Okay I do some pretty weird things myself that I don't find weird but other do.

I sometimes like to add some jelly to my chili. I know some people think that is gross but it's actually really good, at least to me.

I like to eat peanut butter with my carrots instead of celery.

I hate mustard but I will eat it it it's mixed it with something like potato salad.

I hate onions but I will eat them if they are fried up, breaded and fried or chopped up really fine.

I love to have cream cheese with my Doritos.

I have to have all my CD's in alphabetical order, the same with my DVD's. I go nuts if they aren't alphabetized.

I have a thing for sniffing those cologne/perfume samples in magazines.

I'll put my face in the magazine no matter where it is: barbershop, waiting room...

In Beezus and Ramona from 1955, Ramona put jelly on her mashed potatoes at dinner one time. It seems that she was somewhat thinking along your lines, if not exactly the same.

I do like to add some grape jelly to a sausage and biscuit.

And dip popcorn in lemon juice, but I think I mentioned that.

I could eat macaroni or spaghetti any day of the week, with 'sauce' (or, gravy) as some people put it. I don't eat it every day, in reality, though. My family finds it astonishing that I would never get tired of it.

I love pasta! But it's very high in calories so I limit my intake to about once a month.:)

Ever since I was a kid I like to dunk my buttered toast into my hot cereal,(oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc.) I like my hot cereal very sweet and I still to this day dunk my toast into it!:liplick: I never thought of this as weird. Is it?

:) I'm on an austerity program; like, once a week for me. Would like it at least twice a week. When I was growing up, most italian-American families would have macaroni of course as part of Sunday dinner, then in the middle of the week, mostly on Thursdays--no special reason, just seemed to work out that way. Nowadays, hard as it is, I try to resist seconds, but getting better at it, because I know what you mean about the calories!

When I was unemployed I had a weird way of dealing with the job search process

1. Turned my ringer off on my phone and checked for messages every 50 mins

2. Applied to jobs that I didn't want so that my phone would always be ringing and give me a reason to hope the call was from a job I did want

That sounds strange. I've never heard of someone drying their hair on their hands. No matter how clean your hair is the minute you go outside it gets dirty.

Exactly. They all think that we are supposed to like so called "hunks" I like men who are unconventionally cute. See avatar....Grant Shaud was my first celeb crush when I was 4. I still find him hot 22 years later.

Oh and FTF. I usually only do that hair dying thing when I've been at home all day and my hair is still clean from the shower. I don't do it in public bathrooms...which. I normally don't use anyways because I hate them. And, I wash my hair like every day.

I've tried it once. It was pretty good.

Also. A friend of mine in middle school got me eating mustard on the school made choco chip cookies. It was freaking good. But, it doesn't work on other choco chip cookies...just the ones we were served at lunch many many years ago. It seems like forever even though it was just back in 2000-2001.

I love macaroni and spaghetti too, but unfortunately they make my blood sugar skyrocket - so I only have a few spoonfuls every once and a while. I really miss pastas...

Good to avoid it then. When it's a question of health, that takes priority. I love fried foods, but have had to cut back. People don't understand why I could leave out a salad or vegetables. (I don't actually leave them out, but eat them out of necessity, usually after the entree:)

Not sure if this is weird or not, but I can't sleep unless the tv is on. A couple of years ago, the cable went out and I was awake all night. I've been this way just about my whole life. I was a night owl even as a child.

When the movie Goodfellas comes on tv, I just have to watch it. I caught the second half of it a month ago, and the entire movie today. Sucks me in every time. I can just about recite it, verbatim. I don't own the movie and don't even want to. It's bad enough as it is, lol.

I think jelly on mashed potatoes is very weird indeed; same for drying hands on your hair. Water flattens my hair, and I just prefer a hand towel. I use those Kleenex paper hand towels. Very hygienic.

Is Lou ok with it?

Is Lou ok with it? After 30 years, it's still a work in progress. He currently wears this oversized sleep mask that covers his ears as well.

http://www.amazon.com/Revolutionary-Patented-SLEEP-MASTER-Sleep/dp/B0015NZ6FK/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1388463053&sr=8-6&keywords=eyemask

He has a box of ear plugs in his nightstand, next to the bed that he wears sometimes. On nights that he has to get up early the next morning, he'll sleep in the guest room. I've really tried to change, but I simply can't. I just can't lie down in a dark and quiet room and go to sleep. I usually put the timer on the tv, but sometimes I wake up when it goes off, lol.

I like to peel Band-Aids from their wrappers in the dark so I can see those flickering blue lights from the static electricity. You get the same results chewing peppermint lifesavers in front of a mirror in the dark. When I'm really bored I like to take my metal detector outside after it snows and see if it sounds off at all the aluminum that fell from the sky. They say that constant exposure to aluminum causes Alzheimer's Disease and that there has been a huge increase in people over the last 40 years. I once went to a doctor to see if I had Alzheimer's but I forgot what he told me.
