"Castle" fans: Here's an early Christmas treat and something to look forward to in the new year.
Marvel and ABC Studios have announced plans to release a new Derrick Storm graphic novel inspired by the ABC crime drama, and TVGuide.com has your exclusive first look.
The book, titled Castle: Unholy Storm, once again follows Richard Castle's hero Derrick Storm as he searches for the person who has killed the daughters of five high-powered international businessmen. With only one clue — a strange symbol drawn in blood — Storm must team with his CIA handler Clara Strike to stop the serial murderer.
The new graphic novel marks the fourth time Marvel has "adapted" the work of Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) that preceded his Nikki Heat novels.
"We are incredibly excited to, once again, be partnering with Marvel to bring Richard Castle's early literary works to life," "Castle" creator Andrew W. Marlowe said in a statement. "It's a great way to expand the Castle universe for all our fans."
The book is written by Cullen Bunn (Fearless Defenders, Venom), with interior art from Robert Atkins (Amazing Spider-Man) and Will Sliney (Fearless Defenders) and cover art from Carlo Pagulayan (Iron Man, Hulk).
The book hits stores on May 6, 2014.
