FYI, Vivian Vance was also a supporting actress on the hit 60's sitcom, The Lucy Show, in the years 1962 to 1965.

Lucy Fan, I am definitely aware of Vivian Vance work on the various Lucy shows.

I'm talking Greta Garbo and Betty Davis type beauty. I bet she would have been a huge movie star if she had concentrated on film rather than television.

She certainly had the looks and the talent to be a great success, but to be a huge star it also requires a great deal of luck as well.

She initially turned down the role on I love Lucy, but Desi was finally able to pursuade her into taking the job. The rest of course is history.
