ThisLittlePiggy 12-09-2013, 09:01 PM :) I love That Girl, and I LOVE watching the holiday episodes over the holidays! Neutronman67 12-10-2013, 09:08 AM I am going to watch the Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids christmas special Boy Meets World season 1 shawn hunter is going to have the worse christmas of his life until cory and his family comes to the rescue. Sanford and Son the episode where fred is going to spend christmas eve alone because he treats other people in his life like crap until the christmas spirit changes the way he think towards others. The Wonder Years season 2 christmas episode kevin bugs his parents for a color TV Kenan and Kel chrismas episodes make me laugh hard MacLeaper 12-11-2013, 02:06 PM If I have time, I do have a few favorite Christmas episodes of TV shows I generally like to watch throughout the weeks leading up to Christmas. (I doubt I would watch much of anything on Christmas Day itself- I'll be enjoying time with family and worshipping The Lord in song.:) ) Mainly- Early Edition- "Christmas", MacGyver- "The Madonna", Quantum Leap- "A Little Miracle" Full House- "Our Very First Christmas Show", "A Very Tanner Christmas", "Arrest Ye Merry Gentlemen" ("The Perfect Couple" is set at Christmas too, but Christmas is not the main focus- and plus, it's a kinda depressing Christmas episode to watch-lol.) Family Ties- "A Christmas Story", "A Keaton Christmas Carol", and "Miracle in Columbus" Family Matters- all the Christmas episodes- this show did a ton and they're all great. Home Improvement- same deal for Christmas. Charles in Charge- "Home for the Holidays" and "Yule Laff" ALF- "Oh, Tannerbaum" and "ALF's Special Christmas" Growing Pains- "A Christmas Story" and "The Kid" Starman- "The Gift" The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries- "Will The Real Santa Claus..." Perfect Strangers- "A Christmas Story" and "The Gift of the Mypiot" The Bradys- "A Very Brady Christmas" and of course "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street" and "A Special Sesame Street Christmas" and "Muppet Family Christmas" Fraggle Rock- "The Bells of Fraggle Rock" (and tons of other Muppets productions of course) and a number of other Christmas movies and such- particularly "A Charlie Brown Christmas"- probably one of my top favorite Christmas specials and/or movies because Linus tells us that Christmas is about Jesus and how He came to be our Savior! (as he quotes from Luke 2. Amen!) And for movies in general- I love that Wal-Mart has "The Passion of the Christ" out with Christmas movies- because that's what Christmas is all about. We can't have Easter without Christmas of course- but the whole point of Jesus coming at Christmas was so that He could go to the cross and die and rise again at Easter- to bring salvation to the world!:) "The Nativity Story" is a great movie that focuses on the event's of Christ's Nativity as well- love that one too. I'm sure there are lots more TV shows (and movies, for that matter) that I could name- but I'll stop there for now. HugeBensonFan 12-11-2013, 08:08 PM I'll be watching my all time favorite Christmas episode, Benson- Mary and Her Lambs from season 4!!! Leigh Ann 12-12-2013, 10:24 AM I've already watched a couple of Frasier Christmas episodes, and The Waltons...But I'm definitely going to watch The Mary Tyler Moore Show: Christmas & the Hard-Luck Kid & The Dick Van Dyke Show: Alan Brady Presents closer to Christmas. :) MacLeaper 12-12-2013, 11:01 AM The Mary Tyler Moore Show: Christmas & the Hard-Luck Kid II That one's a favorite for me too. Last year or so, I saw "That Girl"- "Christmas & The Hard-Luck Kid" on TV for the first time. (Actually the first episode I'd ever seen of that show- it was pretty cool.) And then of course, I've also seen "The Mary Tyler Moore Show"- "Christmas & The Hard-Luck Kid II" - and that episode is actually named like a sequel to that classic Christmas episode of "That Girl" as a tribute by the writers.:) (Considering that Mary Richards is like a '70s version of Ann Marie in any case.) HugeBensonFan 12-12-2013, 02:43 PM If only the powers that be would release this on DVD. I want more "Benson" seasons! I agree with this statement wholeheartedly tlc38!!!! I need more seasons of Benson! I really wish they came out with a complete series set, I've been petitioning and asking the companies but to no avail. I don think there are any music rights to really worry about either. Hopefully one day soon!! Neutronman67 12-13-2013, 08:40 AM Petitions to get show's on TVDVD like Benson wont ever work unless millions of people demand to see it on their local shelves at a store. Schmoopie 12-26-2013, 04:53 AM I've watched "The Fight Before Christmas" (Frasier) already as well as Dobie Gillis "Jangle Bells" and some others. I love all the Christmas episodes from both shows. Have to make a list of the others I've watched. Oh, and lest not forget Seinfeld's "The Deal" which is the ultimate "Festivus" episode! Boy Meets World: "Train of Fools" Designing Women: "New Year's Daze" & "The First Day of the Last Decade of the Entire Twentieth Century" Kate & Allie: "New Year's Eve" I can't think if there are more New Year's episodes. As for now, this is my viewing list. bliss 12-27-2013, 09:06 PM 5 Christmas episodes from different shows.... 1. Roseanne 2. The Patty Duke Show 3. Bewitched 4. That Girl 5.
