View Full Version : Who was on Gilligan's island when they became shipwrecked? Pat 12-05-2013, 02:02 PM In season one of GI, it is revealed/implied that there were others living on the island before and when the Minnow was beached. Anyone know who??? Pat 12-06-2013, 12:40 AM Hint: I am thinking of two people - both males TV_on_the_Porch 12-06-2013, 12:55 AM Wrongway Feldman and, uh, that other guy, the artist "nincompooper, it's upside down!" ThisLittlePiggy 12-06-2013, 01:06 AM Yes, Wrongway Feldman and the painter, Dubov! I was going to guess those two also. What about the jungle boy? Was he already living there too? Pat 12-06-2013, 05:19 AM EPISODE 5: When Wongway comes out of the bushes of Gilligan's Island, he tells the castaways that he's been on the island for years. EPISODE 19: Gilligan meets an uncivilized jungle boy who has no education. He gets off the island using the hot air balloon that the castaways made from their rain coats, but there is never a discussion of how this boy got on the island. Thus, it is assumed that the boy was on the island the entire time. Pat 12-06-2013, 05:20 AM EPISODE 34: GOODBYE OLD PAINT. Dubov is found on the island, but he never claims to be on the island for any amount of time, he just has a transmitter to use when he wants to get off the island. I don't think he was on the island the entire time. Pat 12-06-2013, 05:31 AM EPISODE 34: GOODBYE OLD PAINT. Dubov is found on the island, but he never claims to be on the island for any amount of time, he just has a transmitter to use when he wants to get off the island. I don't think he was on the island the entire time. I take it back. The transmitter falls apart as if it was years since Dubov used it. Yong Fang 12-06-2013, 08:49 AM Wasn't there a Japanese soldier who was on the island thinking that WWII was still on? I haven't watched the show since I was a child. Pat 12-06-2013, 11:17 AM Wasn't there a Japanese soldier who was on the island thinking that WWII was still on? I haven't watched the show since I was a child. Good call, but he arrived by submarine when Gilligan was at the lagoon. Probably going from island to island. TV_on_the_Porch 12-06-2013, 01:59 PM So whose kid was the jungle boy, Feldman's or Dubov's? And where was mama hiding...or...what ever became of her? Inquiring minds want to know.... :gossip Pat 12-06-2013, 02:09 PM So whose kid was the jungle boy, Feldman's or Dubov's? And where was mama hiding...or...what ever became of her? Inquiring minds want to know.... :gossip :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: I think it was Dubov's son. Dubov seemed like he didn't want to be bothered so he could paint - thus, he would never have time to educate the boy. LOL "Nincompoop boy, leave me to paint!" Pat 12-06-2013, 02:12 PM It would have been funny is one of Dubov's paintings was a portrait of Wrongway. ThisLittlePiggy 12-06-2013, 07:06 PM So whose kid was the jungle boy, Feldman's or Dubov's?
