I've long been a fan of Betty Garrett, the recently deceased actress best known as Irene Lorenzo on "All in the Family" and Mrs. Babish on "Laverne and Shirley". It's a shame she never got the lead actress role on a sitcom, either as a spinoff or an all new property. What character actor really deserved to be a lead on their own show?
