Last night I viewed an episode titled"The Boys Christmas Money".The exact original air date was December 19 1952.But during that episode there occurred a major thunderstorm.
Most unusual weather for December,unless you live further south.Did the Nelsons fictionally live in Los Angeles?

According to Vincent Terrace's book The Complete Encyclopedia of Television Shows, their fictional address was 1822 Sycamore Street in Hillsdale. That would make sense, because 1822 was their real-life street number (1822 Camino Palmero Street, Hollywood, Los Angeles), and Sycamore Street in Hollywood is nearby Camino Palmero.

Of course, where Hillsdale was supposed to be is anybody's guess. Snow in Christmas episodes seemed to be a more common occurrence than one would expect in L.A.!
