Is Prepon the new Holmes? Not so fast! Rumors that Tom Cruise and Laura Prepon are dating are false, his rep tells Us Weekly.

The two actors -- both members of the Church of Scientology -- caused a stir earlier this week when they were spotted having dinner together at The Manor Hotel in Los Angeles.

"They see each other at some functions, but they are not dating," an insider tells Us. "He will date again and has been talking with women," the source says.





The 51-year-old Oblivion star has yet to publicly romance another woman since he and Katie Holmes -- with whom he shares daughter Suri, 7 -- divorced back in the summer of 2012.

"He's actually a lot more relaxed and more extroverted," an insider told Us of Cruise after the divorce. "Tom still sees Suri and speaks to her on the phone."





Orange Is the New Black star Prepon, 33, previously dated fellow actor Christopher Masterson, the brother of her "That '70s Show" costar Danny Masterson.

The pair dated for about seven years before calling it quits in 2007.

Everybody breathe. Despite a recent slew of tabloid rumors to the contrary, Donna Pinciotti and Jerry Maguire aren’t dating.

In an interview with The Daily Beast about the second season of "Orange is the New Black", the reporter brought up the recent stories about Laura Prepon’s alleged paramour, Tom Cruise.



“Oh god… I knew this would come up! Dude, I have no idea,” Prepon shared in the story. “I really don’t know. I totally respect him and think he’s an amazing actor, but I’m not dating him. I don’t know what else to say. It’s crazy. It just goes to show: Don’t believe everything you read.

I have no idea where it came from. I don’t know how we ended up ‘together.’ I’m flattered because I think he’s hot so I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s nice,’ and apparently he’s very gentlemanly with me. Apparently, we get along great and he knows that I have a favorite bottle of wine that I didn’t even know I had. So, apparently he’s on cloud nine… [Laughs].”
