Lurch The Addams Family Endora, Maurice, Aunt Clara, Serena, Uncle Arthur and Esmerelda all didn't have last names, on Bewitched. McGillicuddy 11-28-2013, 11:26 AM Margret from Becker Margaret's last name was Wyborn. tv star collector 11-28-2013, 03:42 PM Columbo IS his last name; his FIRST name was never mentioned. 70s show watcher 11-28-2013, 08:45 PM mork Furienna 11-28-2013, 11:41 PM Several characters from "Keeping up appearances" never got a last name: Daisy, Onslow, Rose, Daddy, the vicar and his wife. Niles the butler from "The nanny" should also be mentioned. McGillicuddy 11-29-2013, 01:20 AM Larry, Darryl & Darryl, didn't have a last name on Newhart. Yong Fang 11-29-2013, 09:16 AM Trailer Park Boys.... Julian, Ricky and Bubbles, the three main characters have never had their family name mentioned, neither do most of the supporting characters except for Jim Laney and wife Barbra, Philidelphia "Phil" Collins and nemesis, and Sam Lasco, "the caveman" hot dog lover. Neutronman67 11-29-2013, 09:17 AM The Wonder Years i dont think kevins school teacher miss white whom he lusted after for 3 years on the show had a first name it was never mentioned on the show to my knowledge. McGillicuddy 11-30-2013, 12:12 PM On Soap, Benson didn't have a last name. However, his last name was revealed on Benson, Benson Dubois. Benson's replacement on Soap, Saunders, didn't have a last name either. McGillicuddy 11-30-2013, 12:17 PM Ralph, the doorman on The Jeffersons didn't have a last name. Carlton, the doorman on Rhoda didn't have a last name. Cousin Oliver The Brady Bunch we never learned his last name. Neutronman67 12-02-2013, 08:58 AM Cousin Oliver The Brady Bunch we never learned his last name. Are you sure i thought that kid would atleast have a last name. MacLeaper 12-02-2013, 05:58 PM Presumably Cousin Oliver's last name would be either Tyler or Brady, but it's possible it could be Martin as well- or something altogether different- it just depends on who married whom. McGillicuddy 12-02-2013, 06:28 PM Oliver was the nephew of Carol. Carol's maiden name was Tyler. If Oliver was the son of Carol's brother, then his last name would be Tyler. If he was the son of Carol's sister, (who most likely would be married with her husband's name), then there's no way of knowing his last name. He could have even been the nephew of Carol's first husband, Mr. Martin, (and the son of Mr. Martin's brother). Then his last name would be Martin. His last name could not have been Brady. Oliver's last name was never mentioned, so we'll never know. dougiezerts 12-02-2013, 08:49 PM Oliver was the nephew of Carol. Carol's maiden name was Tyler. Oliver's last name was never mentioned, so we'll never know. His last name could have been Brady if Carol's sister happened to marry a Brady too.;) But yes- I get what you're saying. Oliver is most assuredly not related on Mike Brady's side of the family. (Thanks for the info though- I must admit I haven't seen The Brady Bunch in a long time and I'm not sure if I remember even seeing the Cousin Oliver episodes...but I've sure heard about him enough. So I was doing that just from quick research.) Dave_L 12-03-2013, 11:58 AM Ralph, the doorman on The Jeffersons didn't have a last name. Ralph's last name was used a few times, though not often - Hart. However, I don't think they ever mentioned Charlie the bartender's last name. ThomasE 12-04-2013, 07:38 PM Jim's family from the sitcom According to Jim -- their surname was never revealed. Really? Wow!!! I never thought about that. The Gooch from Diff'rent Strokes Lenny the looter from Good Times Ox and Ginger from Saved by the Bell Sal 12-04-2013, 08:48 PM How about Mister Ed? MacLeaper 12-05-2013, 11:44 AM Grover, Bert, Ernie, Elmo, Zoe, Telly, Biff, Sully, Gladys, Oscar, Slimey, Herry, Cookie Monster, Rosita, Beautiful Day Monster, Kermit the Frog and a host of others, all on "Sesame Street". (To be fair, I suppose "Monster" might be Cookie's last name- but then, I would presume that he's related to Grover, Elmo, Herry, Telly, Leo the Party Monster and a host of other monsters that have been on Sesame Street. You have the same scenario with characters like Kermit the Frog. He's been referred to as "Mr. the Frog" by some characters on "The Muppet Show" productions, but generally he's just known as Kermit.) It's hard to tell with Sesame Street's denizens- for the puppet characters, they are largely broken down into people groups- Monsters, Grouches, Honkers, Dingers, Twiddlebugs, Snuffleupaguses [this one is tricky since this is also Snuffy's last name- but it also counts as a category for a group of beings on Sesame Street.] and then there are other puppets that are presumably meant to be humans like Prairie Dawn and Betty Lou and Bert and Ernie. And then animals like Big Bird and Little Bird and Hoots the Owl. (Oh yeah- we are not given Hoots' last name either.) And I guess The Count could count as a very limited group (since he's technically a vampire and has had various girlfriends who are Countesses.) So yeah- the list could go on and on with those show. For a more in-depth look, I recommend checking out the Muppet Wiki. (http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Sesame_Street) Also, some of the human characters on the show have not had their last names revealed. (Mr. Hooper being an obvious exception. Other characters like Maria and Luis have had last names revealed- but we just don't hear them very often.) As far as I know, David's last name was never revealed, along with other human characters who were there for a time- like Mike and Savion, etc. And while I'm listing Henson productions, I could also say all the Fraggles on Fraggle Rock never had last names listed- usually there are called by the naming format- "..... Fraggle"- example: Gobo Fraggle, Red Fraggle, Mokey Fraggle, Wembley Fraggle and Boober Fraggle. For all but the last episode of the series, Doc's real name is never revealed. (His real name is finally revealed as Jerome Crystal in the last episode- making him Doc Crystal.;) ) I presume Sprocket would take the last name of his owner. And of course, we would have the same deal with The Muppet Show, as many characters only have one name- Gonzo, Camilla, Animal, Zoot, Janice, Nigel, Lips, Doglion, Thog, Sweetums, Beaker, etc. Some characters have two given names- example, Fozzie Bear. (And his last name is generally taken to be "Bear", since his mom is referred to and addressed as "Mrs. Bear" in "A Muppet Family Christmas".) And then you have characters like Miss Piggy, where "Piggy" would presumably be her last name. And as I mentioned before, Kermit the Frog has the same deal. And then there's the Swedish Chef where we don't even know a name for him beyond that- though it is given as "Tom" in one episode of "The Muppet Show" (but that's most likely non-canon, since it was in a sketch.) ThisLittlePiggy 12-05-2013, 06:53 PM Isn't Ed's last name Horse, of course? LOL, just kidding. Neutronman67 12-06-2013, 09:35 AM Isn't Ed's last name Horse, of course? LOL, just kidding. That depends Ed could be half horse and half human Eddie Murphy makes a joke about Mr ED in one of his movies LoL. MacLeaper 12-06-2013, 02:34 PM I don't know if the TV show "Spenser: For Hire" was mentioned, but I believe that is a case where we only know the main character by Spenser- I don't think it was ever explained as to whether that was his first or last name. treky 12-07-2013, 12:09 AM Quincys first name was never given ThomasE 12-07-2013, 12:17 AM Millie (Whitley Gilbert's BFF) from A Different World Season One.
