I prefer the first one portrayed by Micki Jamison. She had backbone, sass, and kept Jim on a leash. I wasn't fond of the other one.

re watched Jean #2's first Adam-12 appearance "Ladies Night"....loved how the producers made it all so mysterious when she was running in the dark to meet Jim then the big reveal. This fake Jean was a dizzy flaky blonde who I can't picture married to the sensible no-nonsense Jim Reed.

I agree, i like the first one better too. She was also prettier IMO for all its worth. The second one also seemed too serious from what i can recall.

Mikkie Jamison I believe was the actress who played the first Jean Reed. It was a shame she wasn't used more after her 3 appearances in season 2. By the time the last season rolled around I was surprised that the producers didn't bring her back instead we get Kristin Nelson. She was a poor man's Jean. The first one had sass and a better chemistry with Kent. This 2nd one was flaky and practically threw herself at Reed trying to get him interested but he wanted none of that.
