What's that sound I hear? Is it a tree falling in the forest? Ah no, it sounds more like A&E's ratings dropping with a thud.

If this information is accurate, then thank you for posting it. Also, if there's any info about any other cable stations picking up NewsRadio, please post that as well. The cable station that picks up NewsRadio after A&E is sure to get lots of devoted viewers, while A&E will be wondering why their second hand "View" isn't doing well.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First USA Network dumps Wings, and now A&E is dumping NewsRadio? Ugh! :livid: :livid: :angryfire :angryfire Why do things like this always happen to my favorite shows? I'll take reruns of Wings and NesRadio over reruns of Seinfeld and Friends any day.

Relax dudes.

I got an e-mail from A&E today saying that A&E owns the rights to NewsRadio for several more years. They're just giving it a rest for an indefinite amount of time. NewsRadio has been running constantly since October 2000. I predict that NR will probably be back by at least September.

September is the month in which A&E loses Law and Order to TNT. So Night Court and NewsRadio will probably return to their old 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. time-slots.

Well, I'm glad they're playing the ep where Bebe guest starred on Monday (March 25th), before they stop showing it for several months. I'm not worried, though... I can still get my Newsradio fix on Fox. I get Boston channeling, so... I don't know if everyone else gets Newsradio on Fox, as well? They play it at 11:30am here.

I have never understood why A & E shows the same episodes twice a day only six hours apart. Surely there's got to be room to keep NR and others in the line-up somewhere.

I can watch it on FOX 25 in Boston at 11:30 AM too, but I'll miss my double dose a day.

I wish our Boston FOX affiliate would put it back with The Simpsons. My favorite 2 hours of TV used to be an hour of Wings on USA in the morning between classes and an hour of The Simpsons and NewsRadio at night.

None taken.

We must remember this: That compared to NewsRadio, most other sitcoms are lame. And that most office set sitcoms are now lame rip-offs of NewsRadio.
