Carl told Eddie if their were going to be any girls at his friends sleepover party in the pilot episode Eddie told him no yeah right, Eddie was 15 years old why else would he want to go to his friends house to watch action movies without any girls being their lol.

How is that lying? There's no proof girls were gonna be there.

Yeah but why would he want to rush his family by trying to go to his friends house just to watch a couple of movies he has most likely already seen in the past, carl seemed like the strict father maybe eddie going to his friends house was the only way he could talk to girls.

Maybe he just really liked hanging out with his friends.
