I think it is do to the changing of the judges. I think it was at the peak when Brittany and L.A. Reid were judges. Then they left the show immediately together and the show changed. It lost familiarity and lost a lot of it audience. Also, the new producers and director kind of edited the auditions and switch cities - go back and forth in an episode did not help matters. Then the switch in making it a group class by itself I did not like either. The new judges I do not like either the chemistry. All in all; it was a boring show from the earlier ones. It had no flare to it at all; even Simon was down as a judge.

I think Fox will cancel the show after the finale!
