I have noticed there is not a thread on this update, so here it goes. Both Ed Carter and Leslie Duncan have been arrested, along with Frank Black. Carter and Black are charged with murder, while Duncan is being held for tampering with evidence in the case.

I saw this online this morning. It is great to hear. This is one case that always got under my skin. Mostly because they obviously knew who had done it and just wouldn't move forward.

They have not said yet what enabled them to make the arrests. But I am so glad that it has been solved. After Duncan was arrested for tampering with the evidence, it seemed that Carter's guilt was pretty much revealed. I do not like what these ladies were doing, but they did nothing to deserve their fates, dying in such a manner.

I'm guessing the evidence against Duncan broke the case and then he spilled his beans to salvage his own skin. Bout time.

I'm sure that's exactly what happened. Hopefully there's justice served and Ed Carter spends the rest of his life behind bars.

Yes it is. I've been waiting patiently for this one. This was one of the first segments I watched back in 03 when I was reunited with UM.

Not just Tammy Papler but I'm sure Carter's ex-wife will testify too. Carter said he was home that night which the wife said was a lie. Carter also said his gun was stored in it's usual hiding place under their mattress that night which the wife said was ALSO a lie. Her testifying at the trial will be crucial as well.
