"The Tomorrow People" is shoehorning someone new into Stephen’s life.

TVLine has learned exclusively that The CW series has cast "Queer as Folk" vet Robert Gant as the surprise boyfriend of Stephen’s mom Marla.



Gant’s Peter raises the suspicions of the superpowered teen, who believes that the new suitor is too good to be true and may have ulterior motives for dating his mom.

But is Stephen just being paranoid? Or is Peter actually involved in the battle between the Tomorrow People and Ultra?
