I hope all of you here weathered those severe Midwest storms! Here in Mid-Michigan we had no tornadoes but we did have high damaging winds. Our power has been out for almost 2 days. They are saying we will probably be without power until Saturday. We have a high powered generator which powers everything in our house so I still have my computer! Luckily my cable internet isn't affected and we have DirecTV so we have tv! Yay! :D How did the rest of you do? Hope everyone is ok!

This is what it was like the last time I went thru a tornado,I can only describe the sounds because it was dark out and the twister was rain wrapped plus I was under my table saw in the basement with a bag of fritos.
1. Disaster sirens going off in 10 minute intervals
2. Eerie silence
3. Sound of wind picking up
4. An increasing roar
5. The sound of things crashing
6. Eerie silence
7. 30 minutes later sirens of emergency vehicles
8. An hour later the sound of gawkers driving in a parade up my street.
9. Hours later, chainsaws, many chainsaws
10. 48 hours later the sound of Roofing/siding companies knocking at my door
11. Weeks later the sound of my phone ringing from Insurance company finally returning my call.
