I think this TV movie was an Aaron Spelling pilot that never went to series.

Christopher Lee hosts and Jack Palance stars.

This is a story about an old dark house and a family curse.

Interesting. I was wondering why it was called "Tales of the Haunted" (note the plural) when there was only one story told. Then I went on imdb and found that it was the pilot for a Twilight Zone-type series that never got off the ground, unfortunately.
