Daphne is number 8. Very deserving and fitting I must say. Daphne was a knockout while also being a bit eccentric. A perfect combination. :)

I just found this, so sorry for taking so long to respond. I disagree with the term "geek" when talking about Daphne. I thought she dressed really classy for someone of her status. Sure, some of her clothes weren't as flattering as others, but she did have her own sense of style.

Where to start!? From the heavy, cumbersome duffle coats to those unflattering, long-sleeved blouses. We've died and gone to heaven (or at least the top of the Seattle Space Needle). Whilst self-depreciative and modest, the Manchester-born maiden is clearly 'Mad fer it'. By "it" I mean, horoscopes, the supernatural and providing professional yet personal, home-based physiotherapy. An absorbing storyteller and a bit of a pool shark, Daphne would be a veritable delight to invite for a pint and a packet of pork scratchings. At first I thought it was her quintessential Britishness that turned me on, her stiff upper lip, her pale complexion and her love of being passive-aggressive. But it's not. It's the fact that she bares an uncanny resemblance to a mate's mother who shares many of those same traits. Sorry Lee. Unfortunately, the delectable Daphne is another of our not-entirely-eligible ladies. Married to Niles Crane, can you think of a more mismatched couple in the history of the sitcom? She's laid-back, selfless and aware. He's anal, selfish and oblivious. Maybe that Ying/Yang malarkey isn't complete cobblers after all!
