Which sitcoms had the most and least appropriate living quarters for a character's income and lifestyle? By far the most realistic was "All In The Family": everything about the house (fading wallpaper, crowded rooms, TV is the focus of the living room) is exactly what you think a working class guy with two jobs in a starting-to-decline neighborhood would live in. (Its spinoff "Maude" is probably the only show in TV history where the characters live less fancily then their real life counterparts!) In contrast, I don't even know where to start on the least realistic household.
