It's kinda like the board has just died off. And, SBS is getting right into Season 3 after tonight's episodes.

I'm glad to see it doing so well on The Hub. It fits on this channel perfectly. And, I love that they do not take out the tag scenes at the end! :D

I haven't missed a "new" episode since it began airing on The Hub. I DVR them and either watch them later that evening or the next day so I can skip the commercials.

Family Affair I think would be too dated for The Hub to air. They haven't really forayed into the late 60s stuff except for Batman. And, that used to air really late at night.

I'd love to see FOL back too. I don't know why they took it off. IMO. It couldn't have been because of the content. Because, SBS has alot more of the adult stuff thrown in and they haven't been editing it out like ABC Family did.

Personally it seems to me like the Miller-Boyett or Miller-Milkis-Boyett or just ABC content in general does better on The Hub than shows from other networks (Except for ALF and Family Ties)

Also, another one that is from Miller-Boyett that I'd love to see on The Hub is Valerie/The Hogan Family. They should do it back to back with Family Ties. Jason Bateman's show and then Justine Bateman's show. It would be cool.

I noticed that when they played the episode "The Marrying Dude". That scene with Mark and Al hasn't played in the ABC Family syndicated cuts. The one where Al stuffs her bra and Mark goes "Hey Al, what do you want? Milk, juice, or HELLLLLLLLLLO!" about her boobs.

That's the first time in 20 years that I've seen that scene. And, believe me. It's alot funnier now that I'm an adult. :lol:

I agree. It's nice to see the original ABC versions again! I wish I had recorded then on DVD when they first started. I may start recording when season 4 starts in a few days. It doesn't take long to record all the episodes when they air 2 a day.

I have the ABC Family episodes recorded but they don't compare to The Hub versions.

I know. When I watched 13 With A Bullet tonight. I didn't even realized that they chopped an entire scene with Mark and Al out of that one too.

Al's by the bathroom and sees Mark trying to shave and she yells "What the Hell are you doing?!" He replies shaving. She says "Where, because I can see you've already done your legs!" I broke into hysterical laughter.

Instead of Karen and Al sliding down the slide into the balls, a shorter version of the theme plays and they are standing in front of the funhouse mirror. I think this may be the first edited-for-syndication episode they've shown so far.

Yes, they used the syndicated print for that episode, just like with the Pilot. So far those were the only two syndicated episodes. I saw the abc family version and the Hub did cut out a lot at the beginning. They cut out Cody's second attempt at breaking the board with his head in the cold open and saying, "I think I heard a crack". Then at the end of the cold open Brendan says, "Boy, I sure hope kids don't try this at home!". Then after the opening Carol is giving a cup of coffee to a customer in curlers, wearing a facial mask with a cigarette in her mouth. The woman then says she hopes the make over will make her glamorous again, as she chokes from her cigarette. Carol tells her she'll look like Cybil Shepard and leads her back in the shop and mutters, "or a German Shepard". Then Al comes downstairs and complains that Carol washed all the blood stains out of her uniform.

The Hub did have an entire part that abc family didn't have though, when Mark asks to play poker with Frank, and the first few minutes of the men getting there. It just started with Cody coming in the room. Also they didn't show the tag scene at the end when Cody loses his good luck streak.

I was alittle surprised that they used the s4-5 clips in the theme song. I'm wondering if that's the version they always used in syndication, even for seasons two and three? They've shown 66 episodes so far (plus 2 Halloween eps from later seasons) and so far only 2 episodes have been syndicated versions.

Nope! It had the full theme and extra scenes, including when Ivy complains about eating outside because she gets bugs in her teeth. There was a bonus disc that came with the season one Full House DVD for Warner Brothers 50th anniversary that contained a Growing Pains ep, and the Pilot of SBS. It was the edited version the hub uses.

But, you know what I've noticed....They haven't cut anything else. They are only doing it on epi's that have very long opening scenes. I think they are using the 4/5th season credits because they are shorter...So, they have time to air the whole episode.

I have no idea if today's two episodes were the syndicated versions, but they both used the edited intro, so I'm assuming. I know Pretty Woman had scenes left out. ABC Family made different edits than the syndicated version, so that's why they cut out that scene with Mark and Al, I'm sure they regular syndicated version would have different scenes edited out. I agree the credits should have been updated sooner as well.

Yeah. The scenes in Pretty Woman that were left out I saw on the ABC family version. They restored another scene though that was left out of the ABC family version. Where Frank and Mark discuss poker.

Where'd the 7-8pm airings go? I thought it was bringing in good ratings. Now they're showing Family Game Night at 7.

They switched the show to air at 10pm-11pm in their regular primetime sitcom spot. Everyone reset your DVRs!

Seems like some nights there's only one episode a night at 10:30. Tonight there's two.

This is ticking me off.

No episodes on Friday at all. I keep checking my guide. Seems like on some nights they are going to air 2 episodes. And, on other nights they air one..and on Friday nights...none.

I actually kind of stumbled into the show tonight. I hadn't seen it in forever and found it on the Hub while looking for Christmas specials to watch. I forgot how hilarious Cody is in the show and I absolutely loved both of the Christmas episodes that aired tonight. I only hope this show will get it's rightful DVD series release someday.

Re-discovering the show I almost forgot how funny it was, I used to write it off as a Full House clone but it isn't as sappy as FH.

I hate only getting one episode at a time. I miss my double dose. They need to move it back to 7PM and 7:30PM!

Yeah I really liked the old bumpers of the theme song playing in the background they were using.

Once they air all 7 seasons of SBS, I'm done with The Hub unless they add Perfect Strangers or something new to the line-up. As of now they've got 52 "new" episodes to air before they start over.

The editing isn't as big of a deal in the later seasons because there's less need for edits as the episodes were already running shorter. The earlier seasons are a bigger deal as they have 1-2 minutes of content edited out.

I think they may be getting rid of SBS all together when the run is done. They are bringing on Sister, Sister and as of now, unless they chop something from their schedule. There's not any room. Plus, SBS's run is over in March. When Sister, Sister is going to start according to promos.

I hope not but I guess we'll see. Does it say when in March?

SBS is the 13th most requested unreleased show on TVShowsOnDVD.com. This show seriously needs to be on DVD. Maybe TimeLife will release it soon! I have noticed that season 6 uses TONS of music but if The Wonder Years is possible, anything is.

I hope someone releases it. As long as its the uncut episodes.
