Are there are any sitcoms that will sustain popularity for a number of years like Frasier or Friends?

I think Bette will be the highest rated although I don't know if that will necessarily mean a lengthy run..

i like 'em and i am trying to write them. trying.

I hope "Ed" sticks around for a while. It's an awesome show and it is the best show on NBC since "Wings", IMHO.

God I loved "WINGS" too! So, now I'm watching "Webber" with Steven Webber from WINGS. It's good, I love him so I'll keep watching. I was sick when Wings got cancelled, I loved that show and everyone in it!

i think everyone will be surprised when the Geena Davis show is the longest running.

i luv the show Gilmore Girls...i think it's gonna be around for awhile

Kristin is annoying. I couldn't even watch the promos for the show. When the promos are bad, you know the shows gonna be pretty bad! I see this one lasting a few more episodes.

I would say Bette, since it was my fave new show this season, but CBS already canceled it because they are dumb http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

But at least they kept "Yes, Dear" which is my 2nd choice. I think that will be around for awhile since it gains ratings too my being between King of Queens and Raymond.

And to those who think badly of Kristin... I like the show! The pilot was that great but the 2nd epiosde rocked and was hilarious! I'll be watching it...

For the 2001-2002 season, I think these shows will be a success:

1) the ellen show
2) crossing jordan
3) reba
4) emeril
