ALice wasn't on ION that long so you should give it another chance. I think it was removed in less than a month

Those episodes didn't grab me. I recently watched the first five episodes of The Mary Tyler Moore Show. So far, so good.

That's because the 1st season is the weakest

This year or last (don't know which): M*A*S*H. Don't know what it is about it, but I found the Korean War setting very much not to my liking.

M*A*S*H: I never liked this show probably because I never understood it.

The Partridge Family: cheesy music that drives me insane.

I never liked M*A*S*H either! I realize the show has made an impact on our culture, and has a huge place in TV history. And its apparently held up very well, thirty years later. But as many channels as its been on since 2000, I've never been able to get through more than an hour of it.

To be fair, I haven't sampled the show as a grown adult. I'm always debating adding this to my to-watch list.

for a long time, I only liked the first 3 seasons of MASH. I though seasons 4 to 11 got too dramatic and preachy at times-especially the last 3 or 4 seasons when it was mostly "oh, we're doctors and we're nurses; and we save lives which makes us so good, and death is such a bummer and war is such hell". I still feel that way and think that the first 3 seasons are the best but now I like the later seasons too.

I don't want to do a whole thesis on M*A*S*H*, but once the Vietnam War was over, the show lost it's impact on the American psyche.

well, everyone to their own taste! (when I was growing up, my mother used to say that whenever someone said they didn't like something; then she'd add "said the woman as she kissed the cow!")

The only sitcom from the 70's that I've watched and didn't really care for is Alice.

There are a few sitcoms like The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Laverne and Shirley, which weren't as great as I thought they would be, but I'd watch them again if I had the chance.

Mork & Mindy, maybe it's more 80's than 70's and I never saw it as a kid during the 80's and now on The Hub I'm discovering the show and it is extremely awful, it's mostly Robin Williams doing his schtick which gets tedious after awhile.

Happy Days, I think Fonzie is cool just like everybody else but man does this show seem like crap especially the earlier seasons when it was filmed on a soundstage instead of the live audience.

M.A.S.H., oh yeah this especially since I hear it mentioned already, I don't know why or how this show lasted so long or how it's last episode was the most watched at the time that it boggles the mind, how can you find comedy in a war setting?

I can sit through a M*A*S*H marathon. I wouldn't make it out of a Mork & Mindy marathon.

I've only seen a few episodes of Mork & Mindy, and they were awful.
