In all honestly I feel Season 7 is the final season I would do it just because I'm a completionist at heart. I really wish--yes, I know I'm beating a dead horse and should get over this--that they had ended the show in Season 7 and given the fans closure. Kasey 11-16-2013, 02:12 PM I will get it for completion's sake. tlc38tlc38 11-16-2013, 02:39 PM I've only seen a handful of episodes from season 8 so I will pick it up sooner or later so I can say I've seen all the episodes of the series. "The Monastery Show" is one of my favorites! I always LOL when Laverne swings on the bell. vernie_defazio 11-17-2013, 06:04 PM I'll definitely get it because it is, after all, my favorite show. There are two episodes with Shirley, some defining character moments and unfortunately, a godawful finale. "The Note" is bittersweet and could definitely be considered the real series finale as it at least has an air of finality to it, and it's fun to see Penny Marshall's sister play a bizarro Laverne clone. "Of Mice and Men" is cute to see Penny and real-life friend Jim Belushi play a couple (a pathetic couple, but a couple, nonetheless.) "The Playboy Show," guest starring Penny's best friend Carrie Fisher is fun, as well. "Defective Ballet" has some great friendship moments between Laverne and Squiggy, "The Fashion Show" is cute to see Penny and real-life (though soon to be late) boyfriend Larry Breeding play a couple, "Please Don't Feed The Buzzards" has some HILARIOUS lines, annnnd that's about all of the bearable moments that season has to offer. I'm excited for any possible bloopers that Sony has to offer us for this season - I just wish they had been including them in the DVD sets all along! comedyfreak 11-17-2013, 06:38 PM Anyone see Penny and Cindy on Sam & Cat? They did pretty well with the physical comedy. As a tribute each apartment was named after their tv characters Defazio apartments and Feeny Apartments. It was cool. Yeah, I saw that. shotzette 11-17-2013, 07:58 PM Anyone see Penny and Cindy on Sam & Cat? They did pretty well with the physical comedy. Sam & Cat turned out to be pretty wretched (so glad I don't have kids who want to watch crap like this!) but the Penny & Cindy scenes were great. I loved seeing the two of them do what they do best together--physical comedy. They both still have it, and their chemistry was the best that it has been in a long time. It's amazing what 3 decades can do for a relationship. ;) |
