Do you think in the long run Howard would have had a happier marriage with Millie or with Betty, the dancehall girl? Or, someone else?

Floyd the Barber or Gomer. ThisLittlePiggy 11-13-2013, 05:00 PM Floyd the Barber or Gomer. Oh, okay. :) Leigh Ann 11-14-2013, 10:18 AM Millie, I think. They were right for each other. But his mother definitely caused him not to have a long-term relationship for very long. And there was also Irene Fairchild, the nurse that worked near his office. But I still liked Millie better. ThisLittlePiggy 11-14-2013, 01:46 PM Millie, I think. They were right for each other. But I still liked Millie better. I really liked Millie too. It seemed that they found out they were both too stuck in their ways to live together. And you're right about Howard's mother. She was so overprotective! Samme 11-15-2013, 02:34 AM Millie probably, but I always thought Andy was a little tough on Howard about the dancehall girl. ThisLittlePiggy 11-16-2013, 02:43 AM Millie probably, but I always thought Andy was a little tough on Howard about the dancehall girl. Andy was VERY tough on Howard. Poor Howard. My theory is that Howard's office, the nurse's office, maybe Sam Jones' as well, are in the floor above Floyd's barber ship and the grocery store, entered from the Mayor's office on the second floor of the Courthouse or outside step in thear of the buildings. I started thinking about this when I found this good, somewhat rare angle view of the buildings in question. https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.18172-8/10960199_947263341953520_9005214701427780779_o.jpg?_nc_cat=106&ccb=1-3&_nc_sid=cdbe9c&_nc_ohc=91XCQs65jUUAX_k8FZ9&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-1.xx&oh=608fe6fda597c45b67de15f00c2e59d6&oe=609AB6EF |
