Despite the rude insults that Martin and Pam traded for 5 long seasons i always got the impression that deep down inside they had the hots for each other but thats my theory does anyone else agree with me ???

I saw it as more of a brother/sister love/hate relationship the way they picked on each other...kinda like JJ and Thelma on "Good Times." I enjoyed when they stood up for each other. It showed that deep down they did care about the other person. But it never lasted long!

I see some truth there. I get where you are coming from. I thought the insults were too much at times especially Martin coming down on Pam the way he did.

I remember hearing that Tichina Arnold and Martin Lawrence briefly dated towards the end of the series

My source isn't all that reliable.

"Martin" was one of my absolute favorite shows. The series didn't last long after Gina left. However, if Martin Lawrence had been willing to continue the series for another three years, he and Pam should have become a couple. Oh, the hilarity that would have ensued! I guarantee that not only would they have not lost even ONE viewer, they would have regained the ones that they had lost over the years.
