are you happy with it? With EVERYTHING in it?

I couldn't possibly provide for or make others happy if I couldn't provide for or make myself happy first. I have seen so many of my friends and associates buckle under the weight and incredible responsibility by being the head of a growing and demanding family. I have heard over and over that their family comes first in their life. Well, I prefer that I, myself come first so that I can actually have a chance of finishing my personal goals and achieving the peace of mind one can only achieve if others whose happiness and needs you are held accountable for, are simply NOT THERE.So in conclusion, making a very mature decision while in my mid-to-late teens has made a HUGE difference in the way I am living decades later.

I have a comfortable home and a family. A great husband. I am in good health. I sometimes forget to count my blessings. A little more money would be nice.;)

I can't say that I'm happy with everything in my life. I don't think many people are truly happy with every area of their life. I wish my health was better, same for my husband. I've lost way too much for family for a person my age, and that gives me a heavy heart.

Other than all that, I'm good. It's sort of like the joke, "Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?", lol. I have a lovely home, a husband I adore and who adores me. No financial issues and zero debt. I've got a best friend in Jenny that I've wished for my entire life.

I have more good days than bad ones. Can't expect more than that I guess.

Overall, yes. Of course- feelings come and go. So I don't worry too much about that. Though there are certainly times of anger, sadness, fear, anxiety, depression, apathy, etc.- there still comes happiness. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning! And I've got the joy, joy, joy, down in my heart to stay. And I'm so happy, so very happy- I've got the love of Jesus in my heart!:)
And no matter what I'm going through in life, He is always there with me and because of His death and Resurrection, I know that through my faith in Him, I am assured a place in Heaven with Him when I die. So I don't have anything to complain about- anything above burning in Hell is a privilege.
So I find my joy and happiness in Jesus and He takes me through everything. (Philippians 4:13):)

I am happy with most things in my life. I have many blessings. I'm a little concerned about my job; I may get laid I'd in February or get transferred to another work site. Both are possible. Other than that my life is filled with much purpose and many good people.

Yes for the most part I am happy with my life. After my mom died in 2012 and after my knee surgery last March it was sometimes hard to be happy. I have wonderful family and good friends that I'm grateful for and that has supported me. I try to be grateful with everything that I have. My best friend calls me Pollyiana. When I feel a dark cloud around me here are a couple of songs that cheers me up.
