I think I went to ebay during the time when I was a TV guide and VHS collector and only had WebTV

But now I have a laptop where i can read things online and go to youtube to see old shows.


Whenever I start working again i may go to ebay to see if i can get the Cosby show DVD

I used to play for oodles on GSN.com but stopped because the prizes got crappy.

Since I can now get songs off youtube and transfer them to my Itunes account I no longer need to buy MP3 for a $1.00

Flickr. I stopped IMMEDIATELY the day you couldn't post an image you copied without putting the ENTIRE Flickr page on whatever site you post that saved image. That's CRAZY!

Pogo I haven't been there in over a year or more.

Twitter. The thrill wore off after a few months and I just stop using twitter.

Years ago, I went to The Nitpicker's Site. I added one movie goof, which I previously added to IMDb, and the administrators accused me of stealing data from IMDb. I tried to tell them that I added that goof there too, but they refused to listen. I basically told them to f***-off, and I haven't returned since.

Paypal is great! I use it all of the time! It's very convenient.But you need bank account or credit card to use Paypal. Some people (especially young people) don't have either.

The elimination of checks and money orders only occurred after Ebay acquired Paypal and since Paypal charges the seller a fee when a buyer pays with a credit or debit card it's just more money in their pocket. Not only am I hit with Paypal fees but there's also listing and final value fees which are understandable and now they charge a final value fee for shipping and this was done because sellers were making a profit on shipping charges and Ebay wanted a chunk of the pie. :rolleyes:

The money order thing had to be eliminated though because it prevented a buyer from being scammed and not receiving the item they purchased. Atleast with paypal if you purchase something you will be refunded by paypal if you don't receive what you paid for.

That used to be a big thing in the early 2000s, but I haven't really kept up with it..... I don't know if it's even still in production.... Every once in a blue moon I might pull it back up, but not nearly with the regularity I used to look at it.....
Though there are still some funny quotes from the flash series that I will recall at times.
