I added one movie goof, which I previously added to IMDb, and the administrators accused me of stealing data from IMDb. I tried to tell them that I added that goof there too, but they refused to listen. I basically told them to f***-off, and I haven't returned since. TVFactFan 11-08-2013, 07:30 PM Ditto My Space. The payment is instant and your item would go out the next day Ebay claims they eliminated the use of checks and money orders because of increasing fraud complaints. That excuse may have some merit but many others including myself believe it was so they could get more fees out of the seller. The elimination of checks and money orders only occurred after Ebay acquired Paypal and since Paypal charges the seller a fee when a buyer pays with a credit or debit card it's just more money in their pocket. Not only am I hit with Paypal fees but there's also listing and final value fees which are understandable and now they charge a final value fee for shipping and this was done because sellers were making a profit on shipping charges and Ebay wanted a chunk of the pie. TVFactFan 11-11-2013, 07:44 PM Ebay claims they eliminated the use of checks and money orders because of increasing fraud complaints. Atleast with paypal if you purchase something you will be refunded by paypal if you don't receive what you paid for. With a money order......NOPE Ohio8 11-11-2013, 07:49 PM MySpace and Facebook ( I deleted my memberships at both Websites). Anyone can buy a DEBIT card and put money on it. They sell them at Duane Reade, CVS, Walgreens and thousands of other convince stores. I would never link my paypal account to my personal bank account. If there is a dispute concerning whether or not you paid a company, the bank will FREEZE your ENTIRE BANK ACCOUNT! I have no idea what you are talking about. A DEBIT card is a card sponsored by either VISA or Master card, that is a pre-paid card. Meaning, when you buy it (at any of the stores I previously mentioned) you also add any amount of money you are willing to put directly on the card at the point of purchase( the register of the store you buy it at.) Let's say I wanted to put $20.00 on a DEBIT card. I would go to the store, pick one out and when I bring it to the register, I would give the clerk the price of the card (usually $4-$5 dollars) plus my $20.00. When she processes the card, the card will be able to make any credit purchase up to $20.00 anywhere a Visa or Mastercard credit card is accepted.
