Don't we have a "bone the fish" survey for Little House. There were many btf moments, but I think they came closest to "boning the fish", when Nellie's Restaurant became part of a Kentucky Fried Chicken food chain.

I'd say Little House On the Prairie JUMPED THE SHARK when they started inventing story lines instead of staying true to Laura Ingalls Wilder's FACTUAL books. Like when they introduced Albert (a fake character and quite annoying and whiney) and when they introduced Mary's future husband Adam (another fake character who never existed.) In real life, there was no Albert and Mary never married.

In 2009 I visited the REAL Walnut Grove, Minnesota. They have a Museum dedicated to Laura Ingalls Wilder and her family, as well as her neighbors. Here's a few things I found out during my visit.
The Olesons were really the Owens. Willie's Owens (Nellie's Brother) was blinded in a fireworks accident.
"Pa" Ingalls did not look at all like Micheal Landon! Quoting an old Soap Commercial "Those Guys didn't even draw me right!
Their Farm FAILED during the years they were in Walnut Grove (Grasshoppers Wiped out their cops each summer).

Of course the real Pa Ingalls didn't look like Michael Landon. Michael Landon was quite handsome. I've seen photographs of the real Pa ..... very different looking!
