LAPTOP/COMPUTER?


I had to ask this question because so many people say they hate watching live tv because of the commercials but i thought that watching TV with your PC next to you was the norm and can browse the web during commercials.

So no one has their computer next to them while watching TV???? Please tell me I am not the only one

Sometimes when I watch TV in my room I will surf while the commercials are on. More times than not I watch tv in the living room on my big screen.

I do but only because I only have so much room to put things in my place- but it's just sitting there and not actually on. (It wouldn't do me much good since I don't have Internet access at home anyway.) I will admit that sometimes I access the Web and check things from my phone during commercials, but that's pretty rare. I usually like to either flip through channels when one station is on a commercial break or just take a break myself to the bathroom or for a snack, etc. Or I might mute the TV for a bit and pray because something's come to mind I want to tell God about. (I also spend a separate quiet time to read The Bible and pray with no other distractions on at all, of course. But as 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says- "Pray without ceasing.":) :cool: )
Or sometimes I'll read for a bit. Or sometimes just actually watch the commercials.:cool:
