Showtime Renews "Homeland"

Showtime's critically acclaimed espionage drama will return for a 12-episode fourth season sometime in 2014.

“Homeland continues to prove its strength for Showtime, and is one of television’s most exciting, provocative and widely-discussed shows,” network president David Nevins said in a statement.

"Homeland" Season 3 to date has been averaging 6.5 million weekly viewers (across multiple airings/platforms), up 20 percent from this point last year.
