When I see the beepers I am taken back and I realize how 90's the show is right at that moment.

I care so very little about trends, fads and what's hot or not. I keep what I like to use or do, and throw away what outlives it's usefulness.SIMPLE.

When I see any of these things I realize how 90s this show is. I remember the whole answering machine and coming up with a good measage to record and we had a big clunky cordless phone just like that one. And, I remember when wveryobe wore overalls. I never really liked them though, I thought they were ugly. I did have a pair once though.

Heh. Hootie and the Blowfish. That was a total buzzword on every sitcom for about two years.

Friends turns 20 on Monday, and all things considered, the landmark sitcom, which premiered on Sept. 22, 1994, is a young 20.

"It's the kind of comedy [that] lends itself to being relatable over decades," says Gary Edgerton, a TV historian and communications professor at Butler University. "It's about being a young professional living in the city — all of that setting is not dated. Coffee is not dated." Neither is Central Perk — not only can you still find indie coffee shops in New York City, you can visit a Central Perk pop-up shop in the SoHo district through Oct. 18. But alas, not every Friends thing, like a wedding ceremony for gay couples, is timeless.

While Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Joey, Monica, and Phoebe could conceivably gather at Central Perk today, they probably wouldn't do so while wearing certain '90s fashions and/or carrying certain '90s devices.
