Nickelodeon Renews "The Haunted Hathaways"

Nickelodeon has ordered a 22-episode second season of promising new comedy series "The Haunted Hathaways".

In its first season, "The Haunted Hathaways" is drawing 2.3 million total viewers and averages a 4.0/1.3M with kids 2-11 and a 5.0/959K with kids 6-11. The series is posting 13% year-over-year gains with kids 2-11 and 6-11 in the Saturday 8:30 PM slot.

"The Haunted Hathaways" is executive produced by Robert Peacock, Boyce Bugliari and Jamie McLaughlin.

I don't understand why they renew a show like this and canceled Victorious and How to Rock, which both regularly doubled the ratings this show gets.

Well since there's no word for Nickelodeon upfront for renewal of Haunted Hathaways season 3, it looks like it's done. Ratings declined in season 2 started in fall.

Personally, I liked Season 1 better than Season 2. Apparently they changed writers during S2, so that might have been the reason and I didn't like the Scott and Taylor relationship stuff, they had no chemistry imo and were boring.

It had short nice run with 48 episodes, one crossover, and a 1 hour special. Not too bad.
