the season 5 ep sam;s little girl would not have worked at all had the chief been there the reason it would not have worked imho is that the chief would not have put up with the havoc and nonsense thath the little girl pamela caused all the chief would have had to do was give her that look that he had and yell SIT DOWN AND BE QUIET in that gruff voice of his:lol: and that would have been enough to make her tow the line does anyone else agree with me?

He would have taken off his belt. That would have shut her up quick, LOL. He would have also dragged Samantha home because it was Samantha's responsibility.

Also, the chief would have been furious at Samantha for dumping Pamela on Nell so she could go off with that neighbor boy. Samantha was completely selfish and utterly irresponsible in that episode. She was supposed to spend the entire day with Pamela, but she only spent about three minutes with her.

This was Sam's only "real" episode this season, and the focus is mostly on Nell/Pamela. Notice how none of the other episodes she was not the main focus? Yes, Sam was to babysit her, but she left her with Nell. You don't see much of Sam in the episode either.
