Last month Fox announced that it had won a bidding war for a new Batman TV series. Titled “Gotham”, the show will follow the early career of police officer Jim Gordon, and is likely to feature familiar faces from Batman’s rogue gallery (though Batman himself won’t be appearing).
Hollywood seems to have taken notice of the success of one of last year’s standout shows, Arrow. The announcement came as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D premiered on ABC and the CW announced that a new show starring the Flash was also in the works.
