They wanted Eddie Albert to play the father at first? And I hate the fact that MeTV is jumping all over the place with episodes and doesn't show them all. Before they went up to where Steve met and married Barbra and they showed the shows with her and Doddie. Then they went back to Brant Park episodes. They didn't show when Chip met and married Polly. So I watch the shows up until Katie has the twins and they need a bigger room. So what does MeTv do? They jump a head to when Steve meets Barbra. I've hate this. I've seen those episodes before.

You won't see the episodes from Season 11 and 12, including when Chip meets and marries Polly, for a definite reason: When My Three Sons went into syndication, Seasons 11 and 12 were not included with Seasons 6 through 10 (the color years).

This has been a problem for decades, and is not the doing of MeTV alone. Those final 2 seasons are rarely seen anywhere.
