Everybody Hates Chris? It's just about like it. I don't think very much of it, but nothing else is on I like at that time.

I don't think the Goldbergs is anything like Everybody Hates Chris. I never even thought to compare the two shows until I saw this thread. If I had to compare The Goldbergs to any other show, I would think of The Wonder Years.

It looks to be based on the life of its producer who has the same name, plus they have home movie footage of the real family. I like the show a lot.

Adam Goldberg...the youngest child took a lot of footage of his family back in the '80s. I like the show a lot too. It's fun to see the real life family footage at the end of the episodes.

i think the only similarity to Everybody Hates Chris is that the show has a narrator - and plenty of other shows use that technique.

I love the show and hope more people give it a chance.

For having big stars in it, it's unwatchable IMO.

I'm giving it a couple more episodes then I'm done with it, George Segal and the actor that plays the oldest brother are the only 2 I like. The youngest kid is annoying, and since he's who the show is the main focus on, I'm not sure I can stomach much more.
