The Parkers is an American sitcom that aired on UPN from August 30, 1999, to May 10, 2004. It is a spin-off of UPN's show Moesha. The Parkers stars the mother-daughter duo of Nikki Parker (played by Mo'Nique) and Kim Parker (played by Countess Vaughn).

we all thought that Countess would be star of this show, but UPN needed more money in a hurry to get MoNique Imes Jackson to save this show. Unfortunately MoNique's talent not only turned Countess' talent down, but also discontinued the Moesha sitcom after its sixth season at the same time.

MoNique is the star of "The Parkers" and whatever she is doing in that show is extremely true in real life of actress Cybill Shepherd, no offense.

I lost interest when the focus went from Kim to Nikki, it still had it's moments, but I lost track of it after that.

...but UPN was under a bad emergency along the Moesha sitcom times, but they need to grab Mo'Nique Imes Jackson to save the network's contract. Even if The Parkers ended well, according to the strict TV critics watching it, UPN was shutdown two years later due to smattering incidents along the way.

The Parkers discontinued Moesha in the wrong time is another situation boning the fish, due to Mo'Nique's increased popularity.

Whatever Mo'Nique is doing is really true in real life of actress Cybill Shepherd, no offense.
