With the exception of the Tony's I don't watch any awards shows. The only reason I would even consider watching any other show would be if someone like David Hyde Pierce or Harry Connick Jr were nominated for an award.

I think it would be great it they would show the Emmy Award shows from the decades of the 1950-1980's. Most of us on this site watch shows from that era and I would love to see Valerie Harpers win or Carrol O'connors or Vivian Vance's.

Those were good shows back then. I watched it every year during most of the 1970's and 1980's. I haven't watched an Emmy telecast since 1992.
