Finally found it at the fifth Walmart I went to.

I love that it's in color and that there are so many crossover episodes with Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor! Now just wish they're release season four of Green Acres.

Also, Gunilla Hutton does a good job so I'm wondering why she left after only this season. I read in an old thread here that she was Nat King Cole's mistress and the producers didn't like that and canned her. I also read that she had hepatitis and had to quit.

Per Gunilla's interview on the "Return to Hooterville" DVD, she left to do a play. Things didn't work out as scheduled, so she called Paul Henning to ask about returning for Season 4 after all, but he told her they had just recast the role with Meredith earlier that same day. She said she regrets leaving but was at least happy that Meredith got the part since they had been friends.

Gunilla Hutton was perfect for replacing Jeanine Riley as Billie Jo. Meridith MacRae Just doesn't look like the other two. Its too bad Gunilla didn't finish off the series. Also Lori Saunders was the perfect replacement for Pat Woodell as Bobbie Jo.

Look and Jeanine and Pat, right next to Lori and Gunilla on the DVD picture covers, above.

Gunilla remains my favorite. Seemed to play Billie Jo a bit more maturely than Jeannine did. I remember watching the reruns as a kid and always being happy that first time Gunilla peeked out over the top of the water tower when the reruns cycled back to season 3 (also meant Kate was back).

Dave, thanks for the answer on Gunilla's departure. I didn't know they had extras on that release where they talked to her. Also, thanks for the tip on the Walmart store here in Houston. However, I finally did get a copy from a Walmart up in Spring, Tx.

That was on the Petticoat Junction: Return to Hooterville. Gunilla and other cast members were interviewed on the other MPI releases, too.

I remember a commercial in the late 60's early 70, about shaving cream. The famous line was Take it off, take it all off and if memory is correct Gunilla was the actress in the commercial. Anyone recall it?

The Noxzema shaving cream commercials were done by Gunilla Knutsson, a model from Sweden - not Ms. Hutton.
