by Natalie Abrams
"Wilfred" has been renewed for a fourth and final season, TVGuide.com has learned. "Wilfred", which stars Elijah Wood as a man who sees his neighbor's dog (Jason Gann) as a real man in a dog suit, will move to FXX for its final 10-episode season.
Additionally, executive producer David Zuckerman, who stepped down as showrunner last season, will resume his duties as co-showrunner alongside Eli Jorne and Reed Agnew.
The third season finished on a low note, drawing roughly 440,000 viewers, down from its premiere of around 650,000 viewers — and certainly a far cry from its series premiere in 2011, which drew 2.55 million viewers.
The fourth and final season will launch in 2014.
