After a VERY VERY LONG summer, hockey has finally arrived! The NHL is set to kick off another season highlighted by 6 outdoor games, the Olympics in Sochi, Russia in February, and no labour interruptions, which means every team will play the full 82 games. It all starts tonight with the Leafs :) vs Habs :mad: on CBC, followed by Winnipeg at Edmonton in the 2nd half of the Hockey Night doubleheader. (Meaning only one thing: Grapes is back again!!) There's also one all-US matchup as Alex Ovechkin (fresh from carrying the Olympic torch back home) and his Washington Capitals will open in Chicago against the defending champion Hawks on NBC Sports Network. Enjoy the games folks! This is only the beginning!
