Charlie's Angels is a television series about three women who work for a private investigation agency, and is one of the first shows to showcase women in roles traditionally reserved for men. The series was broadcast on the ABC Television Network from 1976 to 1981 and was one of the most successful series of the 1970s. Charlie's Angels was created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts and produced by Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg. In pre-production, the original proposed title was The Alley Cats.
Rookielove 10-01-2013, 04:50 PM I missed Tiffany when she left, but I still liked the 5th season.
So, to be honest, I loved the show from the beginning to the end.
Retro4Life 10-01-2013, 05:34 PM I don't think it ever really "boned"...it got less popular, which is a different thing.
After five years, it's hard for a drama like that to continue, particularly with such a changing cast roster. I think by the time it was cancelled in 1981, they'd pretty much done all the stories they could, and the bloom had gone off the rose.
Having said that, I personally liked the final season a lot; wish they could have done a proper finale.

I didn't even watch the final episode until syndication. At least we got to see Charlie, sort of. lol
I agree. I don't think it ever JTS. It was just time for it to go.

I found the final season to be stronger than the 4th. Tiffany just didn't click with Bosley, Kris, & Kelly in my opinion. She was just a prop.

True at least Charlie was "seen"
I did like the last episode even though I don't know if it was intended to be one. The angels weren't chasing after bad guys or going undercover. The majority featured past clips while the Angels pray for Kelly's recovery from a gunshot wound to the head.

I thought Tiffany clicked quite well with Bosley, Kris, and Kelly. And Tiffany was great in some episodes. I loved Season 4. Seasons 2 and 3 are tied for my top favorite. But my next favorite is Season 4.
Mood Ring 08-28-2014, 05:57 PM I was so disappointed when Kate left, so for me that was it. I tried my best to give Tiffany a shot, but the show was just not the same without Kate.
