I loved the pilot of this show. Very cute and funny!
The mom is so corny giving her teenage son a locket with her picture for his birthday! The look of horror on Barry's face was priceless! :lol:
The grandpa is also funny especially when he's discussing chicks with his little grandson at the waffle house! :lol:

i agree - easily the best comedy on ABC in the last five years.

I've been enjoying it myself. I like the way it's sort of like the Wonder Years just set in the '80s and based on a real family. I also like the real family clips that are shown at the end.

But of course ratings fell big in week 2.

THE SECOND EPISODE WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE!!!!

I couldn't keep it together when Jeff Garlin freaked out about the box of tampons in with the groceries - "That was in with the FOOD?!? - THROW IT ALL AWAY"

I liked Barry at the Roller Rink and how he thought he was SO COOL! :lol:

I agree. It's the best new comedy of Fall 2013

One of my favorite things about this show is that there is NO annoying laugh tracks!

Started to watch this last week, just the first two episodes... and I'm enjoying it very much.
Glad to see some sentiments and heart under the thin layer of disfunctionality and rudeness.
